The first Kotka
International Organ Competition 2002 will be organized during the annual organ week in Kotka,
Finland. The organizers are the City of
Kotka, the Kotka Parish and the Sibelius Academy. The
competition will take place
21.-30.11.2002 in the Kotka church.
The
organizers wish to promote young organists with wide and
solid professional skills. The
winners should have a strong artistic profile,excellent
organ technique, ability to compose interesting recital programmes, and ability to lead a baroque
ensemble. The competition is open to
all organists born in or after the year 1967. |
