The competition takes place in the
Kotka church on its organ of 1998 by
Martti Porthan. The general plan,
stoplist and construction details of this organ
are based on the Gottfried Silbermann organ in Freiberg,
Germany. A description of the
organ can be found below. The Kotka organ is well suited
for the
repertoire mentioned above.
