The third Kotka International Organ Competition will be organized
18-24 April 2009 in Kotka, Finland. The organizers are the City of Kotka, the Kotka Parish and the Sibelius Academy.
The organizers wish to promote young organists with wide and solid professional skills. The winners should have a strong artistic profile, excellent organ technique, ability to compose interesting recital programmes, and ability to lead a small orchestral ensemble. The competition is open to all organists born in or after the year 1976.
